I had fully intended to do a weekend update about how I spent my last “single” weekend. But, let’s be honest – i’m not single. I haven’t been in 5 years and I spent last weekend the same way I usually do. We hung out with friends, took Gracie to the pet store and laid around being lazy bums.
After work today we took Gracie to the Pooch Plunge at Legion Stadium. We took her last year and she learned very quickly about not following the big dogs into the deep end. I was wondering if she would remember – and she did. She had a blast chasing all of the big dogs around the perimeter of the pool, but, as soon as they chased a ball into the water she put the brakes on and stood at the edge of the pool. I think she kind of wanted to jump in but last year’s experience may have scarred her a bit. Instead she was content to wade into the kiddie section and plop down.
Tomorrow’s activities involve working, hitting the gym and heading to the Clinique counter in the mall to get instructions on how the whole make up thing works. Fun, fun.
