What a game that USA/Algeria World Cup match turned out to be! I watched the first 90 minutes online at work. My dual monitor set up comes in handy for more than just work sometimes. Around the point that the bonus time started, I switched over to the big tv in the “company break room.”
Man, I am so glad that I switched over just in the nick of time to catch that goal. I started screaming, “GOAAAAALLLL, GOAAAALLLL!” I think that it scared the crap out of Gracie. Very, very exciting.
And now it is time for a totally unrelated Public Service Announcement. Whenever one is working with jalapeno peppers, it is of the utmost importance to absolutely never touch your eyes after finishing. Obviously, I learned this the hard way.
This is actually the second time that this has happened. I even wore gloves, washed my hands thoroughly and took all the necessary precautions. Perhaps some people are just not equipped to handle jalapeno cutting.
Alright, ESPNU is showing a re-run of the Duke/Ga. Tech ACC Championship game. I never get sick of watching Duke win…so, off to the sofa I go!

Haha, Mark did the same thing when making Mark-o-chine one day, except he rubbed his nose with jalapeno hands. I thought he was being a big baby until I looked over and his nose was fire-engine red and tears were streaming down his face. (Milk seems to help quell the flames btw).
