Sometimes having a dork computer setup (dual monitors) at work comes in handy. I had the MMOD (March Madness on Demand) pulled up and was keeping an eye on the games while working – but then, not surprisingly, I got sucked into the Villanova/Robert Morris game. My bracket is already pretty busted, I had both Notre Dame and Florida making it to the next round and both lost this afternoon. Oh well.
In other news, I actually did make it to the gym today. I had a dentist appointment today and I was worried that I wasn’t going to make it to meet Tom in time for a workout. After having to cancel last minute on him earlier this week, I really didn’t want to miss again – luckily I got to the dentist early and they were able to take me back 15 minutes early, so it worked out.
My gym is right beside a Jimmy John’s sub place. We have gone there a few times when I have wanted something quick for dinner and I have to say, I am a HUGE fan of their veggie sandwich and I love that they have an avocado spread available. When I was leaving the gym I noticed a long line out the door, a radio station broadcasting live and then saw a sign advertising $1 sandwiches for “customer appreciation day”. Immediately I got super excited about getting dinner there, but then realized that the special only ran until 3pm today. Bummer. On the upside, we did have a ton of leftovers that needed to be eaten, so, we really didn’t need to go out for dinner anyhow.
Unfortunately, now I have a major craving for one of their sandwiches. I anticipate that a trip there might be in my very near future.

Labcorp treated us with Jimmy John’s sandwiches today…I have to say, very yummy. Of course I got one of their “slims” without the veggies and healthy stuff 🙂
With cheese, avocado spread and other stuff, I am not sure that even the veggie sub would be considered “healthy.” But yes, it is SUPER yummy! Even Danny likes it and he’s not a huge “sub sandwich” type person.
