Here’s the thing – having friends with a boat is really cool.
Due to the fact that both myself and Danny are kind of lazy, we hardly ever make it down to the beach on the weekends. Packing up the car, driving across the bridge, finding a parking spot, etc…it requires a lot of effort that neither one of us is really all that interested in expending. And don’t even get me started on the crowds in the summer.
But this boating thing – totally my speed. We got an early start this morning and headed out on the waterway on Carla and Mark’s boat.
We beat the crowds and spend the morning/early afternoon hours enjoying the sunshine and saltwater.
Minus one unfortunate wardrobe malfunction (the strap on my brand new bathing suit popped off towards the end of the day) – it was a great way to spend a Sunday.
Do I really have to go back to work tomorrow? No fair!
