The September Roundup

Due to the fact that I have not updated the blog since September 6th – I figured that I would post a round up of things that I would have blogged about if I was not such a huge slacker about keeping this space current.

Gracie attended her 4th annual Pooch Plunge.

She still has not learned to swim, but, has perfected the art of lounging in the shallow end.

Tons of college football was watched in our house. We attended the Duke/Stanford massacre game.

Even though Duke lost that one, they are currently nursing a 3 game winning streak. For those of us who have suffered along with Duke football over the years, winning 3 games is a big deal. To do it all in a row before the season is even over is absolutely unheard of.

Late in the month, we attended a surprise birthday party for my Uncle Keith.

I had my camera focused and locked in, ready to catch the big “surprise” moment when he entered the room.

…and then he came in the OTHER door and all I wound capturing was this crappy shot:

While we were out of town for the party, Gracie had an awesome time at her favorite place on earth (Dogs at Play). 

(I hope the other pooches did not make fun of her for this)

And, with that September was over.  What a busy, but fun, month it turned out to be.
