If you would have peered into the backseat of my car today, you would have seen something totally out of the ordinary.
My 3 year old niece, Brynn, needed a lift home from daycare today and since my schedule is more flexible than Danny’s I got drafted to help out. Last time I picked her up, I realized that 3 year olds all kind of look the same when they are in a room together.
This time, I had no trouble finding Brynn – but, we did have some minor technical issues getting her hooked into the car seat. I am sure that all of the other people were wondering what the crazy lady in the parking lot was doing to the poor child in the car seat – but, between the two of us, we got it figured out.
On the way home, Brynn asked me why should couldn’t get out of her car seat. I told her because if she did, we would be breaking the law and go to jail. This led to a discussion on the finer points of jail – Brynn told me that the food was “yucky” there and, therefore, she did not want to visit.
And I wonder why they don’t ask me to babysit more often?

What’s with all the bandaids?
Sam, my guess is all the bandaids has something to do with Megan trying to put her in the car seat. 😉
