Hey, Mother Nature, WTF gives?
Around 5pm yesterday, there were multiple reports of funnel clouds near my neighborhood. This scared me so bad that I almost pee’d myself.
Today, we felt the tremors from the earthquake at work. My mom and I looked at each other and said simultaneously, “What was that.” I ran outside thinking that a car had rammed into my parents house.
Clearly, that was much more obvious than it being an earthquake? Who would’ve figured that? Not me!
And now all eyes are on Hurricane Irene. According to the evening news, it is trending east and that might be great news for us in Southeastern NC.
But, who knows? This time yesterday, we were figuring it was sure to be a direct hit. Hopefully she turns out to sea and leaves everyone alone.
Hey, Mother Nature – how about chilling out a bit. Tornados, Earthquakes and Hurricanes all in one week? Not cool.
